Our annual Campout at Newport saw 30 Eastmonters making the trip to the coast on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd. Activities included a lighthouse tour led by Betty Jorgenson, a tour of the Hatfield Aquarium , visiting the many shops on Bay Blvd. fronting the inlet, and watching the fishing boats return. We shared a chorus Sing-A-Long and S’mores the first night and played games the second night, both at the Beverly Beach State Park facilities. We also ate together Wednesday evening at the Embarcadero restaurant. As always, the fellowship was rich and rewarding.
